Description
Carbon steel heads , also known as plugs, caps, pipe caps, bulkheads, are used to close pipelines. They have the same function as pipe plugs, but the caps can be screwed directly on the pipe without other pipe fittings.
Product features:
The elliptical head is also known as the elliptical head. The elliptical head is a head composed of two parts: a rotating elliptical sphere and a cylindrical straight section. The elliptical head with the ratio of the major axis to the minor axis of the revolving elliptical sphere generatrix is 2.0, and is customarily called the standard elliptical head. The mechanical properties of the elliptical head are second only to the hemispherical head, but better than the dish-shaped head. Since the depth of the elliptical head is between the hemispherical and the dish-shaped head, the requirements for stamping equipment and molds and the manufacturing difficulty are also between the two, that is, it is easier than the hemispherical head and more difficult than the dish-shaped head. In recent years, the use of spinning technology has brought convenience to the manufacture of large-diameter elliptical heads. Oval heads are widely used in medium and low pressure vessels due to their better overall performance.
